Greetings! It has been a long time since I wrote something about my travel exploration. Tonight, I am going to write about C&J Sunset View Beach Resort. Well that is the name of there resort, lol 🙂 (Don’t mind my sarcasm, I’m trying to be funny).
Finally.. School is over!
School is over because this past few months had been the craziest thing for me. What I meant is was the final exams is over! Yay! I’ve been wanting to go to the beach for the longest time, though I never get a chance to relax, I didn’t have a time to travel nor explore around the city because of my busiest schedule in clinical’s and academics.
I am thankful and happy that we had the longest school break (4 weeks’ vacation). If you really know me, I hardly spend time with family. I don’t come home often to see my parents. And for those that knows me, I’m usually a “workaholic”. Other times, I prefer to stay in my bedroom doing things I normally do– sleeping, writing and making plans ahead. But, I’m a full-time nursing student which means I don’t have a job lol. Well, to tell you that story. Being a full-time student in the Philippines is common.
It’s very rare to find someone who is a working student. Unlike back home in the USA, it’s necessary to work and be responsible for your own. Life in America is a fast paced compare here in the Philippines.
Everything is laid-back and reserved. I wish I can live like that. However, I’m not a type of a person who sits around and wait for something to happen.
I’m finally home at my parents house. My mom, my cousin’s and I decided to go for a road trip. Needless to say, I wanted to do something different this time; “quite, calm and less people to see”. So I told my mom to go to the beach after Christmas.
Luckily, my mom went to this beach resort 4 years way back. She friended the owner in order to get a discount lol. Everybody love discount prices!! Anyway, it works all the time and how to get to know people! 🙂 a.k.a “Networking” method.

As soon as we got here, I fell in love with the beauty and simplicity of the landscape. Perfect to spend an overnight stay.
Directions how to get here?
The beach resort is located in Felmida Road, Botolan, Zambales, Philippines.
Easy to find because it’s along the highway (on the left side- towards north).
There will be a large sign stating C&J next to the gate entrance.
From my place, it takes 20 minutes driving to get there. No traffic and you will definitely enjoy to do sight-seeing while on the road. Because everything you will see is full of nature, mountains and agriculture’s.
From Manila, it will take 3-4 hours driving. But, for solo travelers and commuters it will take more than 8 hours due to bus stops and long traffic.
What is your favorite things to do when you are at the beach?
If you ask me, I like to wander and think.. Other than that, I like to sleep under the sun 🙂 A good way to have a natural glow on from the sun (tan glow from the sun), Ha!
Walking and Wandering around…
As time passes by, I realized this is what I’ve always wanted. Just as the same when I used to lived in Florida.. The sun, the beach, the sands in my body and the silent moment.. listening deeply in the rhythm of the wind.
Walking for miles, I don’t see any people. It’s too quite! Then it hit me,” OMG! We have the resort all by ourselves! This is perfect! This is great!”
Sometimes, all you need is a quite environment to restart yourself and meditate.
Wandering is good. I always wander all the time.. I don’t think my thoughts stop thinking haha! Water is my favorite element, then air. I enjoy smelling the breeze of an ocean as I walk through the water. I enjoy feeling it when my body tingling and my mind is floating with so many ideas and wisdom.
People tend to say..
“Not all who wonders get lost”.
If you really know what Wandering is..
It means roaming and touring.
Wandering is exploring aimlessly from place to place. Another term, could be from one idea to another.
Wandering is a good start of wisdom. And wisdom help us to gain knowledge and experiences to learn something, it can either be good or bad. Hence, the truest wisdom is learning the righteousness coming the heart.
This place is the best place to stay and relax with your family. A very spacious resort . Best for family gatherings, you friends’ favorite outing, and big events like conference and wedding is possible!
So simple yet so beautiful.
Before I forget, entrance free is 300 pesos ($6 dollars). We got it for 150 pesos per head because my mom is a friend of the owner. Room expenses from 1,500 to 3,000 pesos per night ($25 to 80 dollars).
Best time to come and visit?
From December to February. Why? Less people. If you like going to exotic places like me.. you will know what I am talking about 🙂
